More beach

Here I am with Lors. As you can see, I am looking very fashionable and trying to cover up, while Lors, not so much ;) That is life in Senegal. On the streets I have often seen one woman all covered up in a bou-bou (African-style dress) with her hair covered walking right past

a young woman in a clingly little dress that leaves little to the imagination. So on the beach, you also find a variety of clothing styles, along with Senegalese and non-Senegalese visitors to the beach, and local people carrying around fruit, necklaces, and African masks, trying to sell them to these visitors. Still, the beach at Virage is one of the cleaner, less hectic beaches apparently, and I had a lot of fun hanging out at the beach that day. Maybe next time I'll even break out that bikini!!
