Hi everyone,
This is day ' for me in Senegal, and so far so good! I'm staying with a Senegalese family in an area on the outskirts of Dakar, and I've slowly started to explore. The trip here was exhausting (10 hours in the CDG airport!), but I survived and now I'm just taking it all in before I start up some reseach next week. In the house I am staying in, I have my own room and bathroom with running water and electricity 5which often goes out) and I'm a 15 minute walk from a beautiful beach! Everyone is very nice here, and I will try to post photos next time;
